Women's Circle
Women's Circle provides women of all ages an opportunity to get involved in local philanthropy.
Members pay annual membership dues of $100. We meet quarterly and have programs focusing on various health topics. With the funds raised through our corporate sponsors and individual memberships we award grants to community organizations for programs impacting the health of women.
The first meeting of the Women’s Circle was held in September 2008. The purpose is to promote and strengthen women’s healthcare through education and philanthropy. The Circle was started by the BSA Foundation to educate the community on what was going on at the hospital and fund women’s programs at the hospital. In 2013, the Women’s Circle became a program of the of the Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation after the sale of the BSA Hospital. The grants program is open to all area non-profits with programs impacting the health of women
The mission of the Women’s Circle is to support projects that improve the health and well-being of women.
